Black Women Over 50 Want More Authentic Representation On Screen, New AARP Research Finds
AARP found that 95% of Black adults say it is important to see Black women age 50 and older represented on screen. At the same time, only one in four respondents believe current portrayals of Black women of all ages are accurate.
